Shall the charter of the city of Elk City, Oklahoma be amended by eliminating archaic language; adding appropriate language of clarification; providing for the filing of campaign financial and disclosure reports; simplification of recall provisions; providing qualifications and removal of procedure for the city treasure; providing for a city attorney and setting Lou the duties of the position and removal procedures requiring approval of the proposition by a majority of registered voters voting at an election held for such purpose as provided by law.

May 1, 2010 - Construction continues on the new Walmart on the southwest side if Elk City. Road is closed for construction at the 7th street I-40 overpass. So this picture is from the north side of I-40 on Eastern Ave.
